These Boots Are Made For....

-Sundays With Hans-
-These Boots-

One of the reasons I love showcasing the work of Hans Fahrmeyer is that it plays against type. Often when Hans sends his theme for Sundays With Hans it takes me a long time to choose which shots I should use in the post. Some shots are without a doubt not the type of shots I usually post. I love that his work challenges me. I have said before that one of the things I love about Hans is that his work is unapologetically sexual. Many photographers like to show sex and sexuality while at the same time, pretending they are shooting kittens and puppies. Hans straight forward approach to his work is something I very much respect. It is his vision coming through the lens and it is artistic, thought provoking, sometimes even shocking. Above all though, it is always beautifully sexual. Thanks again to Hans for sharing his work with FH.

Last shot is my favorite.

Nick Ayler by Hans Fahrmeyer

Hans Fahrmeyer has really out done himself in his recent work with model Nick Ayler. These new shots of super hot Nick are some of my favorite of Hans recent work. Model and photographer have worked together several times. The results continue to get hotter each time Nick steps in front of the lens of Hans Fahrmeyer. Hans has again put his video talents to work and created a great compilation of his work with Nick below. Thanks as always Hans for sharing your work with FH!

Nick Ayler:
Besides being one of my favorite models, and one of the hottest, various other adjectives must be used when talking about New York's Nick Ayler. Determined and focused would be at the top of that list. Nick has worked extremely hard to break into the business, not relying on his looks alone, but working on hard on all of his talents. Besides modelling, Nick is a talented musician, dancer and singer. Nick is also not just 'dreaming' of becoming an actor, he has several credits to his resume including working on 'Dear John' with Channing Tatum. Nick currently studies at the Stella Adler Acting Academy in NYC.

Equally serious about music, Nick has been a Deejay for close to 10 years now. Nick has a keen ear for music and rhythm. Nick has used these skills to produce two songs that he both wrote and sings on. You can listen to them both on Nick's Myspace Page HERE: I love both songs, but 'On The Dance Floor' will certainly have you moving.

Favorite Video of the Day: Philip Fusco by Hans Fahrmeyer

-Sunday With Hans-
-Philip Fusco-

Last Sunday I posted some new shots by one of my favorite models, Philip Fusco by one of my favorite photographers Hans Fahrmeyer. Hans sent me is new video which is without a doubt one of his best. Hans skillfully combines some of his old shoots with some of his new work with Philip to create a beautiful montage. It is great to see some previously unseen shots surface in Hans new video! Thanks as always Hans for sharing your work with FH. As always stop by Hans site HERE: to check out more of his work including his advertising and editorial work. If your looking for a great gift, Hans also has several books including my favorite 'Colours of Men'.

School is done for the year which means Phil Fusco is back in front of the camera for the season. Except for his work with Paragon Men we have not had much new work from Phil in the past while. First up for Phil, stepping once again in front of the talented lens of Hans Fahrmeyer. Phil and Hans create magic. Hans first shoot with Phil a couple of years ago brought us some Phil's best work and certainly some of my favorite shots of Phil and by Hans. Phil is showcasing his new shots on his site Phil's Spot which you can check out HERE:

Body Painting with Hans Fahrmeyer

This week artist Hans Fahrmeyer shares something a little different with FH's. Here are a selection of Han's body painting series. What makes these shots stand out, besides the skill and artistry of Hans is that the shots shown were all accomplished without any photoshopping. Hans uses paint, light and his immense talent to accomplish his vision. Thanks as always Hans! Be sure to check out Hans Fahrmeyer's recently relaunched site HERE:
