Unconvential Hunk Of The Day: Gavin Crawford

Many of you might not have heard of Gavin Crawford, but if you are able to get 'Out TV' you might have seen his 'The Gavin Crawford Show' which airs multiple times a week. The show first ran for two seasons on The Comedy Network. I know Gavin from 'This Hour Has 22 Minutes' which is a sort of Canadian version of Saturday night live with a focus on news of the day. (You can watch some of 22 Minutes, as I did, on Youtube).

The adorable Crawford is a graduate of the BFA Acting Program at the University of British Columbia. Openly gay, Crawford is one of Canada's best known comedians and has created many much beloved characters. Gavin has previously performed at the HBO U.S. Comedy Arts Festival in Aspen, the Edmonton Comedy Festival, the Montreal Just for Laughs Comedy Festival.

Below: Gavin and some of his many characters.

Below: Gavin worked with Andrew Llyod Webber and John Barrowman when he hosted the reality show 'How Do You Solve a Problem Like Maria?' the hunt for Maria for the theatrical revival of the "The Sound of Music."

Unconvential Hunk of the Day: Hamish Linklater

'The New Adventures of Old Christine' has been on 4 or 5 years now. Not sure CBS really respects the show as it has been moved around so many times. I was never really drawn to the show, but lately I have been watching 'Big Bang Theory' and 'How I met Your Mother' and through watching these CBS comedies, I have been starting to watch the Julia Louis-Dreyfus comedy. I have quite liked the past few episodes and plan on adding it to my tivo. I have always loved Wanda Sykes and the writing is much better than I had expected.

An added bonus of course is the adorable Hamish Linklater. Hamish plays Christine's brother and thier relationship is both interesting and risky for a prime time comedy. I remember Hamish from American Dreams but Hamish is also an accomplished Theatre actor with many theatre credits on his resume. The writers of 'Old Christine' also seem to enjoy putting his character Matthew in the bathtub, bathrobes and without a shirt as often as they can. Certainly one of many reasons to check out 'The New Adventures of Old Christine' if you have not already!

Favorite Unconvential Hunk of the Day: Peter Oldring

Peter Oldring is a Canadian actor and comedian. This classically trained actor from the National Theatre School of Canada has been on fixture on Canadian television for the last decade. Peter also is skilled at stand up and improv and has been a member of Second City group in Toronto. You may have seen him on 'Blue Collar TV' or in 'Hollywood Wives, the New Generation' as Farrah Fawcett's assistant. Peter also has many motion pictures on his resume including 2002's 'K-19: The Widowmaker'. Certainly I took notice with his role in Y.P.F (see below).

Favorite Unconvential Hunk for November 4th Seth Meyers

I always thought Saturday Night Live's perfomer and writer Seth Meyers was cute and adorable, not to mention so talented, but seeing him on The View yesterday turned Seth from Cute to Freakin HOT!

Favorite 'Who Knew?' James Kyson Lee

I have posted many times about hottie Milo Ventimiglia whom I first grew to admire both for his looks, but more so for his skill as an actor when he played Jess on 'Gilmore Girls'. I thought Jess was one of tv's best drawn male teen characters. It was easy to follow Milo to 'Heroes', a show I loved season 1 and am trying to stay loyal to.

But WHO KNEW...Heroes had another, more hidden hottie in James Kyson Lee! I loved James since Heroes started and his role of Ando. So adorable, his scenes have been some of my favorites. But recently while checking out one of my favorite sites, A cause des Garçons found HERE: A post on James and his site had some hot pics. What made them even hotter was the fact they were a total surprise to me as I always thought James was cute and funny, but never knew he had that killer bod. Check out his site with more pics HERE:
